The NBA regular season has met its end. The Playoffs have begun. Who will rise to the top? That will be decided. This NBA Season was a great one, with lots of stories. I’m here to tell those stories. Just remember that I’m fourteen. This will be the season told from a (young) teen’s view.
The MVP Race
Harden and Curry, Curry and Harden. Those are the two candidates for MVP this season (yes, yes, I know there’s LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook, but really, is anyone other that these two going to win it?). They’ve both worked extremely hard this season. My pick, however, is Stephen Curry. He has had the best all-around season out of anyone this year. Not to mention that he plays for the team with the best record in the league, the Golden State Warriors. Here’s some of what I’m talking about.
Stephen Curry is what we in the sports business like to call a team maker. Sure, he has a fantastic supporting cast, but it’s him that makes everyone around him good.
James Harden has been pretty fantastic himself this season. What with Howard being injured all seasons. He really has put the city of Houston on his back. Here’s some of what he’s done:
With the Playoffs started, one question remains: Who will put up this year’s banner? The contention is better than it’s been in years. The West is loaded, and the East… is not Kawhi Leonard is reshaping the Spurs from an old, dominant team, into a young, dominant team. The Heat and the Hawks appear to be the only two teams with a chance of winning the East. The Warriors need to prove all the critics wrong and take the title. That’s what I’m hoping for.
So far, the Playoffs have been fun to watch.
